2016 Reading List — January 15, 2016

2016 Reading List

Hello, everyone! (:

I have so many books lying around my house and I was just browsing through some other blogs and one of the questions they posed was, “What’s on your 2016 reading list?”.

To my left I have Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides (which has yet to be finished) and to my right I have What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty (which also has yet to be finished). I don’t want to give the stories away so I’ll just give you 2 little synopses. The former book is about a young girl who transforms into a boy and finds out the history of her/his family. Basically the latter title is about a woman who’s lost 10 years of memory and a lot has happened since then.

I’ve also got Inferno by Dan Brown,The Red Tent by Anita Diamant, Consumed by Benjamin Barber, Zipporah, Wife of Moses by Marek Halter and She’s Come Undone by Wally Lamb, Witch & Wizard by James Patterson down here in the living room.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope that you’ll stop by soon.

Organization — January 12, 2016

Hello, everyone!

Another one of the things that I love to pin about is organization! I’ve got 32 pins so far. So let’s go through them!

Just like for my Housekeeping post, I’m only going to talk about the ones that I liked.

You can add me on Pinterest. (:

So the first thing I’m going to talk about is this printable goal list from Buttoned Up.

You can download it here.

I’ve already filled a couple of them out. (:

I did one for buying a house and getting a cow.

Another printable that I found really useful was this Room Resolutions from it sums. I’ve also filled out a couple of these! I did one for the living room, the bathroom, the kitchen and the master bedroom!

You can dowload it here.

I also found this article really interesting:

6 Things Not To Store In Your Bathroom

There are products that you should not be storing in the bathroom!:

It made me realize that I’ve got some rearranging and reorganizing to do. I’m sure I’m not the only one that keeps my makeup, makeup brushes and hair styling (electric) tools in the bathroom. I also keep my prescriptions and OTC first aid medicines in there. I actually don’t keep reading material in there, but I do bring it in there sometimes and then put it back, so it does get germy but at least it doesn’t get moldy/mildewy.

Well that’s it for now!

Hope you’ve enjoyed and be sure to back soon.

Check out my most recent blog post A Free Printable for Decluttering and Organizing Your Closet and get even more details, including tips and tricks, with Declutter Your Closet.

Another organizational post to check out is What To Do When You Have Too Many Magazines. I am currently in the process of making a free printable for that!

Housekeeping —

Hello, all!

As of right now I have 50 pins on my Pinterest under my TLC Housekeeping board. So I figured as my first “real” post I’d go into some detail about what I’ve found so far. I hope that it helps you! Because one of the problems I have is that everything is all over the place. So let’s try organising it.

Because I don’t want to bore you I’m just going to talk about the ones that I liked. You can find all of my pins on Pinterest. (:

Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you soon.

Introduction — January 9, 2016

Hello, all!

This is my first ever personal blog post! I’m really excited. I hope I can keep up with this. A year or two ago my cousin showed me Pinterest and I have been in love and obsessed with it ever since. On Pinterest, I’ve found so many blogs from women that I absolutely adore! So I’m hoping that I can be just like them. A lot of them even blog as their full-time job! One of my passions is organisation and a lot of the blogs from the women I read offer insight into this. I’m not a stay at home mom like a lot of the blogs I read, but I’m an unemployed full-time student who wants to be able to have some kind of income and have fun at the same time! I figure I already spend so much time on Pinterest and these blogs anyways. Maybe we can all collaborate to give each other even more views, comments, etc.

Thanks for reading! Have an awesome day!

Here is the link to my most recent blog post, which includes a free printable, A Free Printable for Decluttering and Organizing Your Closet. Be sure to stop by my other post for tips and tricks on the subject, Declutter Your Closet.

Another organizational project that I’m currently working on (along with a free printable) can be found here, What To Do When You Have Too Many Magazines.

Be sure to come back soon.
